The Department of English and American Studies is hosting a general information event on the state examination in English. Student teachers of all semesters are cordially invited to get an overview of relevant information on the state examination in English. The event requires no registration. HOW TO APPLY?

1) Apply online at the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Augsburg if you are not already enrolled.

2) Registration for the EFV:
- First-year students are to use the applicant number from your online application.

- Students already enrolled at the 新万博体育下载_万博体育app【投注官网】 of Augsburg are to use their matriculation number as applicant number.

- Please upload a legible copy of your complete Abitur certificate in PDF format.

- Please note: The EFV is a procedure that can be completed and passed in several ways (by taking the test, by the Abitur average in English, or by using an alternative language qualification; see link below). However, prior registration for the procedure is necessary in any case!

- EFV for the start of summer term 2026: Deadline for registration for the EFV is January 15, 2026, midnight.
